"Memory is important, to remember is to make present; to forget is to cause something or someone to cease to exist."

Before we found ourselves grieving, we experienced the great joy of conceiving a new soul that never existed before, in cooperation with God. These souls were called to return to Our Lord shortly after conception.
Regardless of how long your pregnancy lasted or whether you were diagnosed with a blighted ovum or molar pregnancy, your baby’s life began at conception. These precious babies touched our hearts and our lives never to be forgotten. They are as beautiful flowers in a garden that only bloom for a short time, yet the encounter with them brings us such joy.
Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, this is a place of remembrance for those little ones who were only with us for a very short time, but mean so much to us. Perhaps your loss was over 30 years ago and you never had closure. Maybe your baby was lost shortly after conception and you could not bury your baby’s remains. Or you would like a place to memorialize your baby in addition to your baby’s cemetery marker.
This is a place to honor the little lives that touched our hearts. We encourage you to name your sweet little one and memorialize your baby with a flower in our virtual Garden of Remembrance.
Naming Your Beloved Baby
Choosing a name for your baby, whether immediately or 20+ years later, is an important step in the healing process and in commemorating the life of your baby. Even if it was too early to learn the sex of your baby, you can choose a name that could be unisex, or choose names of both sexes. Example: Mary Joseph, José María

Prayer to Comfort Those Who Have Lost a Baby in the Womb by Rev. Matthew McCarthy, FSSP
Almighty and merciful God, Whose judgments are incomprehensible, Whose ways unsearchable, Whom no-one has counselled:1 You gave to me a child for reasons I know not: I know not how it was formed in my womb: for I neither gave it breath, nor soul, nor life, neither did I frame its limbs, but rather You, the Creator of the world.2 And now O Lord, before this child had yet seen the light of day, You have reclaimed it for Yourself. With a heavy heart but trusting, I surrender my child to You, bowing to the decrees of Your providence, grateful to You that I bore it if even only for a very short time. Grant to me peace and solace in my sorrow, and courage to make my own the prayer of your servant Job: the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away: as it has pleased the Lord so is it done: blessed be the Name of the Lord.3 I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Ghost, one God through all ages of ages. Amen.
1. Rom 11:33-34
2. 2 Macc 7:22-23
